It packs a flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G chipset, a huge 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen, a great 64MP camera, a huge 4700 mAh battery, 120W fast charging, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. At its price, it’s truly worth the hype.
The Xiaomi Poco F4 GT 5G comes with a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED screen with a punch hole design for the selfie camera. It’s a massive screen, with an aspect ratio of 20:9, and supports HD10+ which makes it an absolute delight to consume media with. It has a plastic frame and back, and a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus front panel. It is quite bright and vivid, peaking at 800 nits. It’s rated for IP53 dust and splash protection, which means it’s not waterproof. Like many Xiaomi Poco phones, it comes with an IR blaster and, fortunately, a headphone jack. It has a physical fast fingerprint sensor, conveniently placed on its side, integrated into the power button. It supports stereo speakers, which are great for playing with media.
The Xiaomi Poco F4 GT 5G brings in the heat with the midrange Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G chipset, making it very fast and great for gaming. It has a Cortex 3.0Ghz Octa-core CPU paired with an Adreno 730 GPU, with storage options of 8/12 GB for RAM & 128/256 GB for ROM. Even with the high refresh rate screen, this should be more than enough for a day’s work. The main concession would be that there is no reverse-wired charging. It supports NFC for contactless paying. Similarly, priced phones would include the OnePlus 10 Pro 5G, Google Pixel 6 Pro, Samsung Galaxy S22, and iPhone 13. the main talking points would be the battery and the cameras.
