The price of Samsung Galaxy A11 in Kenya is 13,600 shillings. It was announced in 2020, March 13, and is the higher option of the A01. Samsung Galaxy A11 Android Smartphone runs on the Qualcomm SM4250 Snapdragon 450 (11 nm) processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has 2/3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable using micro SDXC (dedicated slot). It also runs on Android 10 and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery.
To be released later on in April, the Samsung Galaxy A11 an entry-level budget phone made to endear to many who have come to associate the Samsung A series with value, especially in the developing markets. It has quite basic specifications, just enough to deliver a good phone without going for unnecessary premium features. Here’s what we know.
The Samsung Galaxy A11 comes with a 6.4 inch TFT screen, with an Infinity O punch-hole design to accommodate the selfie camera. It is, of course, a plastic frame with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It employs a triple camera set up. The same has a slight chin at the bottom, a speaker grille, a 3.5mm jack but unfortunately a micro-USB charging connector.

As per the time of going to press, Samsung was yet to release the chipset that is to be used on the Samsung Galaxy A11, even on their official pages. All we know is that it employs an octa-core 1.8GHz CPU, giving the impression that the processor might be in the ranges of the budget Snapdragon 435 or thereabouts.
It has 2/3 RAM choice and 32GB of internal eMMC 5.1 storage (check Oppo A11), with a dedicated microSDXC card slot. All these features point to a budget device therefore performance should average in the least. Intensive tasks could take a hit but nothing too embarrassing.
The Samsung Galaxy A11 will come with a triple camera set up, starting off with a basic 13mp primary wide lens, a 5mp ultra-wide shooter, and a 2mp depth sensor. The photos will be basic and usable in the very least, but only in optimal conditions. A little low light or overexposure and the lens is expected to struggle. It can at least shoot full HD video in 30fps. The selfie camera is an 8mp lens, also capable of 1080p video recording. The selfies will be basic but usable.
The Samsung Galaxy A11 at least comes with the very formidable 4000mAh, non-removable Li-Po battery. Which has been proven over and again to have a great track record? It easily lasts the whole day, and with a not so power-intensive TFT screen and a budget chipset, the endurance can only improve. It comes with 15W fast charging, giving it a very long-range, even for the above-average user.
The Samsung Galaxy A11 ships with the android 10 based One UI 2, the best and the latest. The experience should be fast and fluid, with the UI has had a redesign that removed the bloatware and optimized the UI ecosystem. It might come with some preloaded apps but one can choose to uninstall them.
The Samsung Galaxy A11 promises to be a great budget phone. Without the unnecessary AMOLED screen, big RAM, or powerful cameras. It just a phone for the entry-level user, but still well balanced for day-to-day use. It launches in Black, White, Blue, and Red.
